StormSLOW® Stormwater Detention Systems by KP Tanks are transportable, precast concrete tanks designed to manage stormwater from catchment areas like roofs, driveways, and roads—helping communities cope with increasingly frequent and intense weather events across New Zealand.

As urban development expands, more impervious surfaces (such as paved areas) prevent natural water absorption into the ground. Without sufficient detention infrastructure, this runoff overwhelms waterways and contributes to flooding.

StormSLOW® systems can be installed as standalone units or combined in a modular series to meet larger volume requirements.

Each StormSLOW® system is fully customizable to suit project-specific needs, including load ratings, tank height, inlet/outlet configurations, and storage volume—delivering the most adaptable and comprehensive transportable detention solution on the market.

Made from precast concrete, StormSLOW® systems offer exceptional strength and durability, making them suitable for even the most demanding installation environments throughout New Zealand.
